50 Great Voices: Send Us Your Nominations

In January 2010, NPR will launch a year-long exploration of 50 ofthe great voices in recorded history. Once a week, Morning Edition orAll Things Considered will air a profile, essay or report about one ofthe world's most esteemed voices. But we don't know yet whose voicesthey'll be, which is where you come in.
Kyp Malone is best known as the guitarist and singer for TV OnThe Radio. But this fall, he released his debut solo album under thename Rain Machine. Rain Machine's eponymous record sounds an awful lotlike the work of TV On The Radio, but the songs are a lot quieter andrelatively spare. On this edition of All Songs Considered Malone sitsin as guest DJ to talk about his Rain Machine project, and to sharesome of his favorite music by other artists.
